October 2011 – Thanksgiving

As so many of you know, we have sooo much to be thankful for this year. 1st and foremost we would like to thank all of you for your continued prayers, thoughts, and words of encouragement.

For those of you just joining Lil’Sophie’s journey. Here’s a quick reminder.

What a difference a year makes. We are so incredibly grateful to God, and for all the prayers that have gone up on our behalf.

I think the pics are enough to show what we are thanking God for during this season. Lil’Sophie has an upcoming surgery in attempts to connect her bile duct on December 6th. But this break has made her stronger, bigger, healthier, & smilier than she’s ever been. πŸ™‚

God bless you all, and Happy Thanksgiving!

    • Didn’t mean to make you cry, but at least it was a happy cry right?? Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving as well. Thank you for your encouragement. We really appreciate it!

  4. Praise the Lord! Enjoy your day!

  5. We wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving and want you to know that Sophie remains in our thoughts and prayers, as she journeys through her 2nd year. May God continue to lovingly watch over all of you. Love, Your cousins, Judy & Pete

    • Thank you so much! We really appreciate it. We still have a bit of a road ahead of us. We remain optimistic that the worst is behind, but continue to just take things one day at a time. Sophie’s peculiar anatomy likes to throw the medical staff curve balls so at the end of the day we remind ourselves “God is in control”.
