March 2011 – MRI Day

My 1st swinging experience

Today is the day we’ve been waiting for, for quite some time. Lil’ Sophie is headed to St Louis Children’s Hospital for an MRI to map out her entire abdominal area. The goal is to see what connections to and from her liver are present, working, or missing. The team will spend some time going over the findings and try to strategize their next step for Sophie. We need to start making some tough decisions – whether St Louis specialists believe they can help her or if we’ve hit the max of their abilities. This will also determine whether Lil Sophie will be considered a candidate for the liver transplant list. They will contact us for a consultation to review all of this information early next week.

Please pray for guidance as the specialists perform these tests and mapping out their plan. And if they can not help her, please pray that our paths cross with someone who can.
